Following her success at the 2023 Michael Hill International Violin ompetition, violinist Jenny Jin was awarded a rare opportunity: a Montagnana violin on loan through Rare Violins In Consortium and its community of generous patrons.

Crafted by Domenico Montagnana in Venice, the violin embodies the maker’s legendary warmth, power, and distinctive Venetian character. Known for instruments with generous resonance and rich tonal depth, Montagnana’s violins are prized by performers for their bold, unmistakable sound.

Now, with this extraordinary instrument in hand, Jin begins a new chapter in her artistic journey. Through each performance, musician and violin speak together — bringing centuries of craftsmanship into the living present.
