Hankyoung Linda Chang

In Consortium is proud to announce the loan of the G.B. Guadagnini, Cremona, c. 1758, “ex-Briggs” violin to the exceptionally talented violinist Hankyoung Linda Chang. This loan, with the Ryuji Ueno Foundation, reflects In Consortium’s dedication to connecting the world’s finest instruments with exceptional musicians, and to ensure these historical masterpieces continue to resonate on the world’s great stages.

Born in South Korea, Hankyoung Linda Chang began her musical journey at age four. Her early potential led her to the Juilliard School’s Pre-college Division at just eight years old, and by age 16, she was accepted into the Juilliard BM program, where she currently studies under the esteemed tutelage of Hyo Kang and Adele Anthony.
Chang has already established an impressive performance record, winning the Juilliard School’s 2024 Walton Violin Concerto Competition, which resulted in a solo performance at Alice Tully Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra. Her international presence includes solo recitals in Korea as part of the 2023 Hic et Nunc Young Virtuoso Series and orchestral collaborations with the Gunsan Philharmonic, the Pazardjik Orchestra of Bulgaria, and the Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra of Romania.
